I have a complaint about receiving a no show or cancellation fee

We investigate any complaint that is made by anyone interacting with our practice and provide a written response directly with the results in the case that any administrative fees are charged--if we investigate a fee and we cannot document that our office followed policy and procedure then we do not charge any fee. We do charge a no show and cancellation fee for patients who arbitrarily cancel their appointments without appropriate notice or on the same day as their cancellation negatively affects other patient's ability to be seen and that is not fair to the community that we serve. For all patients who are already established (not new patients) we offer an annual fee waiver for the cancellation and no show fee which renews annually as we do realize that sometime emergencies do happen and you may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment last minute.
