When will I receive my orders and prescriptions after my visit?

We request that all patients check out online after their visit. Once the visit check out has been completed it typically can take up to 7 days to release your orders and care summary to your portal, lab and or pharmacy because our care plans are typically integrative in nature.  Prescriptions (not supplement recommendations) are typically released within 48 hours of visit with some exceptions.  To know whether or not your prescription has been sent to your pharmacy (and it has been at least 48 hours since your visit) please first contact your pharmacy to confirm receipt.  If they don't have your prescription and it has been more than 48 hours since your visit we recommend you submit a support ticket to research why there has been a delay in the transmission of your prescription.

Please keep in mind since our office is an integrative care gynecology practice often personalized protocols and or supplement regimens may be recommended for you as a patient during the course of your care. Because each protocol is individualized to each patient (i.e  protocols are not duplicated across patients) it can take some time to create each protocol.  The process is very similar to creating a recipe however each patient has their own recipe.  So it can take some time for the doctor to create each protocol since she is not duplicating protocols across patients because our treatment philosophy is that each patient is individual therefore each protocol must be individualized . Typically it can take up to 7 business days from your visit to have your protocol and or supplement regimen to be created and delivered to you.   If part of your treatment plan includes functional tests, dietary recommendations, nutrition or lifestyle journaling, supplements, herbs or other lifestyle recommendations then your "orders" are really a protocol that is being issued from the office so you can expect the totality of your protocol to be ready per the timeline above.

If it has been more than seven business days since your visit and you are still awaiting your care summary we encourage you to reach out to us so that we can give you an estimate as to when your care summary will be ready.
