I'm getting too many messages. Can I change my notification settings myself?

Yes! Please login to your patient portal and select these options in your preferences.

If you are getting messages that say you have a reminder and when you login you don't see any messages in your inbox then you likely are receiving an order reminder.  To check if you have any open orders go to my health then health reminders.  If you see any open orders listed there that are not closed that is likely why you received a reminder call.  If you see an open order that you have already completed you can send a message through the portal letting us know the name of the lab you completed and request to have it closed OR if you receive a call you can indicate to the automated system that you have already completed the order (you need to listen to the reminder call live in order to do this).

If you do not intend on completing an open order you can send a message through the portal letting us know the name of the lab you will not be completing, the reason why and request to have it closed OR if you receive a call you can indicate to the automated system that you do not intend to complete the order (you need to listen to the reminder call live in order to do this).

If you are receiving other messages in regard to preventative health reminders or other reminders that you want to adjust you do have to option to customize your messages.

To customize your communications login to your patient portal. Make sure that you are on the full site and not on the mobile version of the patient portal. You should see a white background if you are on the full website desktop version of the patient portal.

In the upper right-hand corner under your name click on your name and in the drop-down menu click on notification settings. From there you can adjust the methods in which you wish to be communicated with.
